Perspectives of sound

Use your ears to explore Deep Forest Art Land on the the 4th to the 6th of september from 10-18!

On the 4th to the 6th of september from 10-18, you can experience the soundinstallation “Perspectives of sound“.

The installationen is created by the three Danish artists Johannes Björkman, Mathias Winther Kjeldsen and Lars Bech Pilgaard, who all grew up in the Western Jutland. The installation will give you and sensual experience of the nature surrounding Deep Forest Art Land, as well as Hvide Sande and Struer Habor.

The installation is created as a natural route within the forest, where you’ll walk among speakers, cassette players and white, wooden frames. All these elements focus on the sounds of the forest and invite you to think deeply, explore and play. The sounds are recorded in the forest, and the wooden frames help you focus on both small and large elements of the forest floor.

“Perspectives of sound“ invite you to sense both the small sounds and images in nature that you see when you focus on the details, as well as the large sounds and landscapes that you’ll see when you watch nature as a whole. The sounds and the visual frames are both natural and machined. This gives you concrete perspectives of how you can experience the sounds of the nature which surrounds you.
