Talent development

Young talents

In Deep Forest Art Land, we attach great importance to working with young and unestablished artists on the same terms as more experienced and international artists.

Since the beginning, we have maintained a focus on young contemporary artists who are nearing the end of their education or just graduated from a Danish or international academy of arts. A work in Deep Forest Art Land can give the young artists an opportunity to show what they can do. Furthermore, it is often their first opportunity to work on a larger scale.

Since 2016, Deep Forest Art Land has collaborated with The School of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. They have been given their very own work- and exhibition space in the middle of Deep Forest Art Land, called The Garden of Sculpture Skovsnogen. Here, both current and former students of The School of Sculpture can curate, create and present their work.
