Board

Finn Poulsen, Chairman

Finn Poulsen has been a part of the top management of the BESTSELLER group since 1985, and has been group chief executive of the company for 20 years. Finn Poulsen is a member of BESTSELLER’s board of directions and owns the company BESTSELLER Retail Europe A/S together with Anders Holch Povlsen.

From 2008-2014, Finn Poulsen was a member of the board of Danish Radio (DR). From 2006-2014, he was deputy chairman of The Conservative People’s Party- Today, Finn Poulsen is chairman of the board of Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt’s Museum as well as Deep Forest Art Land//Skovsnogen.

Johs. Poulsen, Deputy chairman

Johs Poulsen is long-time member of the City Council in Herning Municipality, where he chairs the Culture and Leisure Administration. In addition to that, he is chairman for the Cultural Collaboration in Middle and Central Jutland. From 2005-2011, Johs. Poulsen was a member of the Danish Parliament.

Anders Kold

Anders Kold is curator at Museum of Modern Art Louisiana, and throughout the years, he has curated a number of large exhibitions. Anders Kold’s focus is on contemporary art and was behind the exhibition series Louisiana Contemporary with artists such as Ai Weiwei and Pipilotti Rist.

John Kørner

John Kørner is a visual artist, attached to Galleri Bo Bjerggaard in Copenhagen and Victor Miro Gallery in London. In addition to this, he is represented at a number of museums, such as the National Gallery of Denmark, Tate Gallery and The Saatchi Gallery in London. Futhermore, John Kørner has carried out multiple decorating commisions, including a mural to Frederik VIII’s Palace on Amalienborg.

Anne Marie Mau

Anne Marie Mau is an architect and vice chairman in Danish Wilton. In addition to this, she has been the driving force behind a number of local project. Recently, she worked to convert Herning Folk High School to a place that will benefit the local community while keeping the spirit and architectual values of the building intact.

Hanne Torp Brodersen

Hanne Torp Brodersen is a member of the board in Deep Forest Art Land.

Søren Green

Søren Green is a farm owner and former chairman of Venstre in Herning City Council. After many years of work, Søren Green is deeply rooted in local cultural- and association activites. He was a member of Herning City Council for Venstre from 2006-2017.

René Schmidt

René Schmidt is a visual artist and co-founder of Deep Forest Art Land. He has contributed with multiple public sculptures and installations, among these the future metro station in Copenhagen.
