Deep Forest Art Land is a living landscape where contemporary art, nature, and society converge. Here, the forest becomes a space for contemplation, reflection, and exploration of the questions that art raises about our times, our surroundings, and ourselves.

A visit invites schoolchildren and students to experience the artworks in their natural setting and explore how art can open up new perspectives on nature, culture, history, and community. Along the way, conversations, interpretations, and insights emerge that extend beyond the individual artwork.

We welcome students from secondary schools, folk high schools, and higher education institutions. Upon arrival, a guide will greet you and provide an introduction to the area, the art, and practical information.

On this page, you can learn more about visit options, prices, practical information, and booking for high school students and college students.

All visits are by appointment only.

Visiting Options

Upon arrival, all groups are greeted by a guide who introduces them to the area, the art, and the practical details.

Responsibilities and Guidelines for the Visit

Deep Forest Art Land is not a classroom or a museum with fixed walls. Here, we move through a living landscape where art, nature, and people come together. That is why responsible educators or guides are an important part of the visit—for the sake of the group, the experience, and the works of art and natural areas we care for together.

Instructors and Chaperones

The following applies to secondary education programs, folk high schools, and students:

  • A class, team, or group must be accompanied by at least two responsible adults.
  • Two classes or groups must be accompanied by at least four responsible adults.
  • For larger groups, there must be at least two responsible adults per class, team, or group.

The supervising adults are responsible for the group throughout the visit.

Safety in the Area

Deep Forest Art Land is a large forested area with works of art scattered along trails, through forest glades, and across the landscape. In addition, cell phone reception is limited in several areas.

If a situation arises in which help must be called for, it is therefore important that one responsible adult can stay with the group while another goes to get assistance.

Shared Responsibility

Responsible instructors and chaperones not only help ensure safety and security, but also create the best possible environment for the group to engage with art, nature, and one another.

Accessibility

We strive to ensure that as many people as possible can have a safe and enjoyable experience in the forest—regardless of their needs and circumstances.

Here you'll find information about terrain, routes, restroom facilities, rest stops, and other details that may be relevant before your visit.
