The Culture Bus gives daycare centers, public schools, and independent schools in Herning Municipality the opportunity to visit cultural institutions without incurring transportation costs.
Deep Forest Art Land is part of the program. Through Herning Municipality’s booking service, you can reserve both transportation on the Culture Bus and an educational program with one of our facilitators.
The educational programs are rooted in art, nature, and the place where we are. Students engage with contemporary art through sensory experiences, exploration, and dialogue, with a focus on curiosity, shared reflection, and active participation.
The programs are supported by materials for both preparation before the visit and follow-up activities in the classroom, so that the experience becomes part of a cohesive learning process.
What is the Culture Bus?
The Culture Bus is Herning Municipality's program for free transportation to cultural institutions.
The program makes it easier for schools and daycare centers to engage in arts, culture, and learning without having to set aside funds for transportation.
The Culture Bus runs during both the spring and fall seasons, and the number of buses is limited.
