Finn Poulsen, Chairman

Finn Poulsen has been a member of the BESTSELLER Group’s senior management since 1985, and he has served as the company’s CEO for 20 years. Finn Poulsen is a member of BESTSELLER’s Executive Board and owns the company BESTSELLER Retail Europe A/S in partnership with Anders Holch Povlsen.

From 2008 to 2014, Finn Poulsen served on the board of DR. From 2006 to 2014, he served as vice chair of the Conservative People’s Party. Today, Finn Poulsen is chairman of the board of the Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt Museum, as well as Deep Forest Art Land/Skovsnogen.

Johs Poulsen, Vice Chair

Johs Poulsen is a former long-time member of the Herning City Council. From 2005 to 2011, Johs Poulsen served as a member of the Danish Parliament.

Anders Kold

Anders Kold is a museum director and curator at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, and over the years he has curated a number of the museum’s major exhibitions. Anders Kold has a particular focus on contemporary art and was the driving force behind the Louisiana Contemporary exhibition series, which featured artists such as Ai Weiwei and Pipilotti Rist.

John Kørner

John Kørner is a visual artist affiliated with Galleri Bo Bjerggaard in Copenhagen and the Victor Miro Gallery in London. John Kørner is also represented in numerous museums, including the National Gallery of Denmark, the Tate Gallery, and the Saatchi Gallery in London. John Kørner has also contributed to a wide range of public art installations, including the Frederik VIII Palace at Amalienborg.

Anne Marie Mau

Anne Marie Mau is an architect and vice chair of Dansk Wilton. For many years, Anne Marie Mau has been a driving force behind numerous local projects, most recently working to transform Herning Højskole into a place that can benefit many people while remaining true to the building’s spirit and significant architectural values.

Hanne Torp Brodersen

Hanne Torp Brodersen holds a Master of Arts in German and History and has worked for several years as project and communications manager at the Færch Foundation, where she has been involved in a wide variety of cultural projects in northwestern Jutland. Today, Hanne works for the GreenLab Innovation Foundation, where her responsibilities include helping to establish an Innovation Center within the GreenLab green industry cluster.

In addition to serving on the board of Deep Forest Art Land, Hanne is also vice chair of the state-recognized Museum Salling, as well as chair of the board of Rydhave Holding, which owns Rydhave Castle in Vinderup.

Esben Pilgaard

Esben Pilgaard grew up in the local area, is a trained industrial electrician, and has more than 25 years of experience in the wind industry, most recently as Proposal Sales Manager at Siemens Energy.

He is the first alternate for the Liberal Party on the Herning City Council, chairman of the local water utility, and a board member of the local grocery store.

With deep roots in the local community, he works to promote growth, social cohesion, and responsible solutions that are close to the people.

René Schmidt

René Schmidt is a visual artist and co-founder of Deep Forest Art Land – Skovsnogen. René Schmidt has created numerous sculptures and installations in public spaces, including one at the Sluseholmen metro station.
