Four artists. Two years. A forest in transition.

"Young Contemporary Art" was a development project at Deep Forest Art Land, where four recent art graduates worked directly in the forest throughout 2024 and 2025.

Through residencies, research, and interactions with the public, the works evolved over time. Some became permanent installations in the landscape. Others took the form of processes, events, and new collaborations.

The project culminated in the opening of the new works in 2025, but several of the artists’ explorations live on today.

Processes and Events

"Young Contemporary Art" unfolded through a series of public events, artist residencies, and presentations. Along the way, the public had the opportunity to meet the artists as they worked and follow the development of the artworks up close.

Below, you can see highlights from the project's development and from the 2025 Summer Opening.
