Booster

Booster is a collaboration between visual artist Silas Inoue and architect Simon Hjermin Jensen. The work incorporates natural materials that will change over time. It is a wooden sculpture covered in 75 kg of sugar and encased in a polycarbonate membrane. Because of the membrane, Booster creates a greenhouse effect, and the sugar will attract insects. In this way, the work will interact with nature and change over time.

Simon Hjermind Jensen is a Danish architect. He graduated from the School of Architecture at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2007. In his work, he often explores organic forms, spaces, and structures. He is also known for creating large-scale structures in public spaces.
