The sculpture seeks to foster dialogue across time and space by using a century-old building material that is relevant today because of its low-tech, biodegradable, and aesthetic qualities. The sculpture is located by the stream, where reeds often grow. The sculpture will slowly decay, fertilizing the soil on which it stands and perhaps planting a seed, so that in the future, reeds will grow where it stands.
The sculpture was created in collaboration with thatcher Bjarne Johansen. It has previously been exhibited at Viborg Kunsthal.
