The Forest Snake was one of the first installations at Deep Forest Art Land. It was created in collaboration between the playground company Monstrum and Søren Taaning, the artistic director of Deep Forest Art Land. The Forest Snake is approved as a playground and is therefore one of the children’s favorite spots at Deep Forest Art Land.
By 2019, the woodwork on the Forest Snake had become rotten, so a new Forest Snake was installed in collaboration with Monstrum.
