For the exhibition *Rite of Passage*, Brovall contributed the work “Using Cavity.” It consists of two clay sculptures installed to form a portal at the start of the route through Deep Forest Art Land. “Using Cavity” refers to a space within someone’s body or, alternatively, a solid and substantial object.

Veronica Brovall

Veronica Brovall is a Swedish visual artist. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in Umeå, Sweden, in 2002. Her work has a raw yet sophisticated style that clearly reflects the fact that she works in Berlin rather than within the more restrained Swedish cultural tradition.
