In the forest, we explore art and the landscape through our senses, our bodies, and language.
The students move among the artworks, listening, looking, talking with one another, and testing their own observations. They encounter art as something with which they can engage in dialogue—not as something that must be interpreted correctly.

There is room for questions, disagreements, and new perspectives.
Students practice expressing their experiences through words and body language—and listening to others’ perspectives.

The learning experience doesn’t begin only when you stand in front of the artworks.
It begins during the preparation—in the expectations and questions you bring to the classroom. And it can continue afterward, as the experience is reflected upon, explored, and connected to the students’ own experiences.

That is why, at Deep Forest Art Land, we view the expedition as a whole—before, during, and after—so that the experiences can flow between the forest and the classroom.
