We explore art and landscape through our senses, our bodies, and language. The students move among the artworks, looking, listening, and talking with one another. They encounter art as something with which they can engage in dialogue—not something that must be interpreted correctly.

There is room for questions, curiosity, and different perspectives. Students practice putting their experiences into words and listening to one another.

That is why, at Deep Forest Art Land, we view the expedition as a whole—before, during, and after—so that the experiences can flow between the forest and the classroom.
