Ida Wieth graduated from the Kosta Glass School in Sweden and from the Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland in 2007–2009. She works with decorative art, sculptural glass, and installations, and she has traveled extensively to further her education and find inspiration. First in Denmark, studying with artists such as Mette Bülow Duus in Aarhus, and later in Sweden and Scotland, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts in glass.
