The Southern Forest
Sydskoven is the part of Deep Forest Art Land located south of Døvling Bæk.
Here you’ll encounter several of the forest’s monumental works of art, which stand among tall trees, along the trails, and in open clearings.
The area features dense woodland, open views, and varied natural habitats, which together create a unique setting for the experience. Sydskoven is therefore a landscape where art and nature coexist side by side.

The artworks are an important part of the experience, but Sydskoven is also about what lies between them.
As you make your way through the area, the landscape changes character. The trail winds through dense wooded areas, open clearings, marshes, and forest edges, where light, weather, and the seasons constantly transform the experience.
In some places, the forest opens up, offering sweeping views of the landscape. In others, it feels dense and enveloping. In this way, a walk through Sydskoven becomes an experience in itself.
